Job Title: Welder – 2nd Shift (Aerospace Manufacturing)
Location: Middletown, NY
Pay: $22–$28 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Manufacturing | Industrial
Shift Details:

• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:50 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Welder to support aerospace manufacturing operations in Middletown, NY. This role involves Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) on turbine components, with a focus on precision, quality, and compliance with engineering specifications.

Welder Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on turbine blades and aerospace components
• Apply hard face filler material and conduct plug/seal welding
• Inspect welds using visual and microscopic methods
• Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Maintain and calibrate welding equipment
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues
• Accurately complete documentation for traceability and compliance
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations

Welder Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; welding certification preferred
• 3–5 years of welding experience, ideally in aerospace or precision manufacturing
• Proficiency in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG)
• Ability to work with tight tolerances and detailed specifications
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Ability to pass welding certification and training requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces
• Capable of bending, squatting, climbing, and twisting hands
• Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with strong attendance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in EBPVD and/or Plasma environments
• Prior manufacturing experience
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
• Organized, detail-oriented, and a quick learner
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
